All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

Trainer Ms T. Cornell was issued a warning pursuant to GAR31(1) for her tardiness in kennelling the greyhound Rio Baskin. Kennels closed approximately 7 minutes past the advertised closure time. In not issuing a fine, Stewards considered Ms Cornell's record coupled with the delay in kennelling due to the late scratching of Little Nellie.  

Pursuant to GAR 104(6) Kennel Attendant, Ms. P. Toner did not act in any official capacity for races 1 - 4 that may have in any way, affected the outcome of those events.

Snow Flake and Prabaker were quick to begin. Winter's Coming was very slow to begin (4L).

Mini Higgins and Piece Of Heaven collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.

Burst The Limit and Sophia Grove were quick to begin. 

Strict Liability began awkwardly and lost ground. Sophia Grove and Short Socks collided soon after the start checking Short Socks. Blazin' Sushi and Bomber's Train collided soon after the start checking Blazin' Sushi. Rio Baskin and Bomber's Train collided approaching the first turn. Sophia Grove underwent a post-race veterinary examination, following an incident in the catching pen, and was found to be bleeding from the nose and, have an injury to the right stopper and a spike wound to the right hind. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Burst The Limit underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Blazin' Tool underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a moderate episode of the thumps. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr E. Prazza regarding the performance of Blazin' Tool in the event. After considering Mr Prazza's evidence, reviewing the official footage and consulting with the On-Track Veterinarian a warning was issued against the greyhound's overall performance.

Cayden Blue and Shrek's Ninja collided in the back straight checking Shrek's Ninja; Hello Lovely checked off Shrek's Ninja as a result. Wilsonville and Supercomputer collided approaching the first turn checking Supercomputer. Kuta Cowboy contacted the rail on the first turn. Supercomputer and Kuta Cowboy collided on the first turn checking Kuta Cowboy.

Why Not Hutch - Late scratching at 11:48am when Trainer Mr G. Carter reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Little Nellie - Late scratching at 1:55pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left hind leg spike wound. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Saint Wallace and Greysynd Spectre were quick to begin.

Purify Virtuoso and Buck The Jockey collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Buck The Jockey.
