Foxzami Raptor, Myola Knight and Kara The Escapee collided on the first turn. Crazy Old Fool and Black Heel High collided on the first turn. Myola Knight galloped on the heels of Foxzami Raptor approaching the home turn; severely checking Foxzami Raptor. Kara The Escapee checked off Foxzami Raptor on the home turn.
Foxzami Raptor underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wound to both hindlegs, right wrist, left and right foreleg monkey muscle and hip injuries. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
