Steward's Report
Why Not Pockets, She's A Charm and Front Bar were slow to begin.
Dire Straits crossed in on the first turn checking Rusty Nail, Fenway Lights, Why Not Pockets and True Alpha. She's A Charm and Front Bar collided on the first turn severely checking She's A Charm which faltered as a result. Rusty Nail and True Alpha collided approaching the home turn. Front Bar tired in the concluding stages of the event.
She's A Charm underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right shoulder and the left thigh. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Supplementary Advcie: Trainer Brian Sommeman advsed Stewards that Dr Des Fegan examined She's A Charm on 9 February 2021 and advised that there was a tear in the right shoulder muscle and would require around 3 weeks to recuperate.
