Rip Off Roslyn was quick to begin. Major Gilbert was slow to begin. Mow A Meadow and Spanish Miss collided soon after the start. Mystify Kick checked off Mow A Meadow on the first turn. Mow A Meadow and Major Gilbert collided in the back straight. Mow A Meadow checked off Major Gilbert approaching the home turn. Rip Off Roslyn and Spanish Miss collided approaching the winning post.

Foxzami Ferrari – Late scratching at 8.57am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr John Boreland was fined $100.

Gizmo Osti, Riverdale Ella and Sevilla were slow to begin. Rajah and Warrior Soldier collided on the first turn checking Rajah. Rajah, Riverdale Ella and Recinder Jack collided on the first turn severely checking Riverdale Ella and Recinder Jack. King Kaboom and Warrior Soldier collided on the first turn checking King Kaboom which brushed the running rail as a result. Gizmo Osti checked off King Kaboom on the first turn. King Kaboom checked off Sevilla on the home turn. King Kaboom and Gizmo Osti collided in the home straight. 

Jagger Bale – New declared weight of 33.8kg, last raced at 32.6kg.

Jagger Bale was quick to begin. Riverdale Bonnie, Carnivore, Maggie Osti and Riverdale Goldie were slow to begin. Riverdale Bonnie galloped on Junket Jarrod on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Carnivore and Maggie Osti collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Sarah Beauty galloped on Maggie Osti approaching the home turn. Riverdale Bonnie and Carnivore collided on the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Brindle Style.

Riverdale Poppy was slow to begin. College Girl and Brindle Style collided soon after the start. College Girl and Beanie Eyes collided approaching the first turn. College Girl galloped on Big Lug on the first turn severely checking College Girl; College Girl and Riverdale Poppy raced wide as a result. Lulu Osti turned its head to the outside and collided with Paphos Queen in the home straight. 

Lulu Osti underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right groin injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr Michael Niele regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight . Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Lulu Osti was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Niele pleaded guilty the charge, Lulu Osti was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Full Tilt was quick to begin. Major Minter and Layback Cruiser collided on the first turn checking Huey's Dream and Layback Cruiser. Layback Cruiser, Why Not Dan, Why Not Colby and Agent Ben collided on the first turn checking Why Not Dan, Why Not Colby and Agent Ben. Major Minter and Full Tilt collided on the home turn. Why Not Colby and Agent Ben collided on the home turn.

Motor City Tiger and Crackerjack Fish were slow to begin. Motor City Tiger and Aston Turbine collided soon after the start. Crackerjack Kane and Count Me In collided on the first turn. Aston Turbine and Crackerjack Fish collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Demolition and Crackerjack Kane collided in the back straight. Sarcasmic galloped on Motor City Tiger entering the back straight checking both greyhounds. Aston Turbine and Crackerjack Fish collided in the back straight. Count Me In checked off Crackerjack Kane on the home turn. Sarcasmic checked off Motor City Tiger on the home turn. Motor City Tiger galloped on Demolition approaching the winning post.

Punk Lass Rocks was quick to begin. Lockwood Lad was slow to beign. Where's The Rum checked off Tech Stock soon after the start. Where's The Rum, Lockwood Lad and Cute Patootie collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Stareena checked off Ride Along on the third turn checking Tech Stock and Cute Patootie.

Tech Stock underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right thigh muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

My Oh Fernando, Yano Bale and Aston Ultra collided approaching the first turn severely checking Aston Ultra and Yano Bale; both greyhounds raced wide as a result. Just A Giggle and Crumlin collided entering the back straight. Crumlin checked off My Oh Fernando approaching the home turn. My Oh Fernando, Just A Giggle and Crumlin collided on the home turn.

Crumlin underwent a post-race veterinary examination after an incident in the catching pen and was found to have a suspected spinal fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Zen Ablaze.

Kibitzer, Zen Ablaze and Mayhem Lass collided several times from soon after the start to the first turn. Tommy's Blazer checked off Two Phones approaching the home turn. Zen Ablaze and Mayhem Lass collided approaching the home turn. Kibitzer and Zen Ablaze collided on the home turn.

Mr. Bob was quick to begin. Zimmer Bale and Spritely Star collided soon after the start. Spritely Star checked off Whistling Bullet on the first turn checking Aston Sylvie and severely checking Spritely Star and Always Primed. Line Trike and Always Primed collided in the home straight. 

Always Primed uinderwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Aston Mireya and Seen Better were quick to begin. Luther, College Degree and Sweet Chantelle were slow to begin. Kalbarri and Baggy's Gold collided on the first turn. Luther galloped on Kalbarri on the first turn causing Kalbarri to fall. College Degree, Baggy's Gold and Sweet Chanelle collided on the first turn severely checking all three greyhounds. Sweet Chanelle checked off College Degree on the home turn. 

Kalbarri underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Luther underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the trainer and was found to have a laceration on the left metacarpal. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
