Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Brindle Style.
Riverdale Poppy was slow to begin. College Girl and Brindle Style collided soon after the start. College Girl and Beanie Eyes collided approaching the first turn. College Girl galloped on Big Lug on the first turn severely checking College Girl; College Girl and Riverdale Poppy raced wide as a result. Lulu Osti turned its head to the outside and collided with Paphos Queen in the home straight.
Lulu Osti underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right groin injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr Michael Niele regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight . Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Lulu Osti was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Niele pleaded guilty the charge, Lulu Osti was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
