Ocean Star – Late scratching at 3.02pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to dehydration. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Silver Sky, Crouching Tiger and Big Plans were slow to begin.
Silver Sky and Crouching Tiger collided soon after the start. Baz The Rocket and Take A Daisy collided on the first turn. Cosmic Roy and Take A Daisy collided on the home turn. Crouching Tiger and Big Plans raced wide on the home turn. Big Plans raced wide in the home straight. Cosmic Roy and Baz The Rocket collided approaching the winning post.
Big Plans underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have thumps. No stand down period was imposed.
