All staff & participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

Loves the Surf – In accordance with GAR 73, presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling as the greyhound was found to be injured at Ballarat on 06/01/21.  Loves The Surf was examined by the on-track veterinarian and found to be free from injury.  Loves The Surf was cleared to race.  A sample was taken for analysis.

Inter Vince - New declared weight of 35.6kg, last raced at 34.1kg.

Black Avenger and Assassinate were quick to begin. Sister Annie and Buster's Choice were slow to begin.

Buster's Choice, Fabriola Acai and Retro Rocket collided approaching the first turn checking Fabriola Acai and Retro Rocket. Inter Vince and Buster's Choice collided several times in the home straight checking both greyhounds. Buster's Choice and King Brown collided approaching the winning post.

Buster's Choice underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. McKenzie regarding the racing manners of Buster's Choice in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr. McKenzie, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

Riverdale Mitch was slow to begin.

Century Rocks and Go Wheels collided soon after the start checking Go Wheels. Myola Sunrise checked off Rockstar Jelfs approaching the first turn. Myola Sunrise and Riverdale Mitch collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Myola Sunrise checked off Riverdale Mitch in the home straight.

Rockstar Jelfs – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52. 

Legendary Lad – New declared weight of 31.4 kg, last raced at 30.1 kg.

Agent Jordan was quick to begin. Why Not Gigi was slow to begin.

Rockstar Manners, Nitro Roxy and Running The Wind collided approaching the first turn checking Nitro Roxy. Rockstar Manners checked off Zambora Bear on the first turn checking Esmay and Legendary Lad. Nitro Roxy and Running The Wind collided on the first turn checking Running The Wind. Rockstar Manners and Legendary Lad collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Who Knows Roman, Tiggerlong Al and Max's Idol collided soon after the start checking Tiggerlong Al and Max's Idol. Who Knows Roman checked off Pride Into Power on the first turn checking Gracie's Girl, Max's Idol and Blackpool Bolt. Max's Idol and Blackpool Bolt collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Katathani Kid was slow to begin. 

Toyed, Aussie Built, Blistering Bro and Burning Eddy collided soon after the start checking Aussie Built, Blistering Bro and Burning Eddy. Aussie Built, Blistering Bro and Burning Eddy collided approaching the first turn checking Blistering Bro and Burning Eddy. Regal Missile and Nera Enough collided soon after the start checking Nera Enough. Regal Missile, Nera Enough and Why Not Dot collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Aston Pirate and Done Time collided on the first turn checking Done Time. Blackpool Storm checked off Done Time approaching the home turn.

Kiss Me Razley and Joffa's Shadow collided soon after the start. Kiss Me Razley, Joffa's Shadow, Disco Riot and Gardener's Boyo collided on the first turn checking Disco Riot, Gardener's Boyo and Graphic Design. El Cazador and Lizzie's Entity collided on the first turn checking Lizzie's Entity. Graphic Design checked off Kiss Me Razley entering the back straight, checking Disco Riot. Lizzie's Entity checked off Graphic Design on the second turn.
