Dawn Spirit underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Prince Archer went up with the lids and was slow to begin.

Big Tango and Coalville Chief collided soon after the start.  Blue Tick Erin raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.  Big Tango raced wide in the home straight.  

Madalia Brodie and Long Black Lass were quick to begin.  Shanlyn Spot was slow to begin.

Madalia Brodie and Amazing Roy collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Madalia Brodie.  Sweet Hostility and Potente Rocks collided on the first turn.  Madalia Brodie raced wide on the home turn.  Shanlyn Spot and Addy's Evie raced wide in the home straight.

Heidi Intention underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Cee Jay Ace underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Ripplebrook Snip underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.

Max Black and Brave Traveller collided approaching the first turn checking Brave Traveller.  Brave Traveller galloped on California Blond approaching the first turn checking Brave Traveller and Buddy Goes Bang.  California Blond and Cosmic Gas collided approaching the first turn.  Cosmic Gas and Ripplebrook Snip collided on the first turn.  Brave Traveller and California Blond collided on the first turn.  Buddy Goes Bang visibly eased on the first turn.

Buddy Goes Bang underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 10.  Buddy Goes Bang and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to representative, Ms. Loren Dalziel regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Buddy Goes Bang was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Dalziel pleaded guilty to the charge, Buddy Goes Bang was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
