Steward's Report
Lady Caviar and Hillbilly Storm collided soon after the start. Alinta's Gift and My Dad Baz collided on the first turn checking Alinta's Gift. Alinta's Gift galloped on the heels of Maddox Bale on the first turn checking Alinta's Gift, Maddox Bale, Shimmy Over, Lady Caviar and Hillbilly Storm. Alinta's Gift and Shimmy Over collided approaching the home turn severely checking Shimmy Over. Alinta's Gift and My Dad Baz collided several times in the home straight.
Hillbilly Storm underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds/abrasions to the hind paws and a left biceps injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
