Foxzami Ferrari - New declared weight of 28.0 kgs, last raced at 26.3 kgs.

Coolant was quick to begin.

Foxzami Ferrari, Black Eyed Heart, Maverick Sandy and Up The Amount collided soon after the start.  Foxzami Ferrari, Black Eyed Heart and Up The Amount collided approaching the first turn checking Black Eyed Heart.  Foxzami Ferrari and Up The Amount collided on the first turn severely checking Up The Amount which fell as a result.  Black Eyed Heart and Maverick Sandy raced wide on the first turn.

Up The Amount underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right thigh injury and an abrasion to the left metacarpal.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Mt. View Entry and Bec Mackie were slow to begin.

Write About Her, Persisted and Amy's Alone collided on the first turn checking Persisted and Amy's Alone.  Bec Mackie visibly eased and pulled up on the first turn.  Write About Her raced wide on the home turn.  Write About Her and Amy's Alone collided several times in the home straight.  

Stewards directed that the lure be eased up (into a finish-on style lure) as soon as the lure reached the finishing line to mitigate any potential danger to the greyhound Bec Mackie, who pulled up on the first turn, ran back toward the catching pen and remined unrestrained in the vicinity of the back straight. After viewing all available race footage, the Stewards were satisfied that this alternate finish had no bearing on the outcome of the event and as such, the all clear was given.  

Soda Pee Wee underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request - no apparent injury was reported.

Bec Mackie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Mr. John Musselwhite declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted. Stewards spoke to Mr. Musselwhite regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Bec Mackie was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Musselwhite pleaded guilty to the charge, Bec Mackie was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Rajah was quick to begin.  Mt. View Bee and Mt. View Moon were slow to begin.

Rajah, Aston Syrah and Hashtag Keats collided on the first turn checking Rajah and Beirut Bandit.  Mt. View Bee raced wide on the first turn.  Rajah and Aqua Vite collided approaching the winning post.  

Aston Rebel was quick to begin.  Galloping Run and Crystal Edition were slow to begin.

Peter Coin, Crystal Edition and Aston Rebel collided soon after the start checking Crystal Edition.  Zen Ablaze galloped on Aston Rebel on the first turn causing Aston Rebel to race wide.  Phil's My Bro and Peter Coin collided on the first turn checking Peter Coin.  Galloping Run and Crystal Edition collided on the first turn.  Galloping Run and Peter Coin collided approaching the home turn.  Mt. View Burner checked off Zen Ablaze in the home straight.

Mizuki Rose, Floppy Joe, Kiss Mwah, Why Not Gazza and Destini Trucker collided soon after the start checking Floppy Joe, Kiss Mwah and Why Not Gazza.  Mizuki Rose and Floppy Joe collided on the home turn.  Why Not Gazza and Mountain Goat collided in the home straight.

Romeo Lad was slow to begin.

Where's The Rum, Meat Murphy and Airly Spence collided on the first turn.  Meat Murphy and Rebel May Road collided on the second turn.  Flashy De Goey and Rebel May Road collided on the home turn.  Flashy De Goey marred Where's The Rum in the home straight colliding with Where's The Rum and Airly Spence checking Where's The Rum. 

Flashy De Goey underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found a right monkey muscle injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Ivan Ognjenovic, the trainer of Flashy De Goey regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Flashy De Goey was charged with marring. Mr. Ognjenovic pleaded not guilty to the charge, Flashy De Goey was found guilty and suspended for 12 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Cute Indeed was slow to begin.

Shanghai Avatar and Twelfth Of Never collided on the first turn severely checking Twelfth Of Never which stumbled as a result.  Gentleman Thief and Shanghai Avatar raced wide approaching the home turn.

Parzival and Wee Gem were quick to begin.

He Shall Enchant and Parzival collided approaching the first turn.  Wee Gem and Sunset Milo collided on the first turn.  Smooth Talker checked off Wee Gem on the first turn.  Wee Gem and Sunset Milo collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn severely checking both greyhounds, Wee Gem fell as a result.  

Wee Gem underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder, thigh and triangle injuriers and an abrasion to the right calf.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Sunset Milo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left hind foot.  No stand down period was imposed.

Livia Bale was slow to begin.

Airly Liberty and Shanlyn Cripps collided approaching the first turn.  Shanlyn Ally and Shanlyn Cripps collided on the first turn checking Shanlyn Ally, Mayhem Lass and Livia Bale.  Shanlyn Cripps and Moody Girl collided approaching the home turn checking Moody Girl.

Club official, Ms. Sharyn Combridge was reminded of their responsibilities in regards to to pre-race procedures. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration and remediation.

Saw Blaze and Hard At It were slow to begin.

Shanlyn Bear checked off Fab Rocket on the first turn.  Shanlyn Bear galloped on Lilac Sky on the home turn and again in the home straight.
