The traditional 2-wave (odds then evens) boxing process has been re-instated for all races in Victoria from Tuesday 10 November 2020. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times. 

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Kyle Brooks regarding the racing manners of Write About Her approaching the home turn. After hearing evidence from Mr. Brooks, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.

Winnie Osti - Turned in the boxes and took no competitive part in the race.  Placed on a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 52(1), pursuant to GAR 72.

Bec Mackie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left sesamoid, left calf and right triangle injuries.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Awake Until Dawn and Fargo were slow to begin.

Star Gem and Tate's Girl collided on the first turn.  Awake Until Dawn and Not Happening collided on the first turn.  Star Gem and Fargo collided on the first turn checking Bernice.  Kiss Your Lips checked off Bernice on the first turn.

Kibitzer, Livvy's Princess and Fly To Victory were slow to begin.

Remy's Girl and Run Baba Run were slow to begin.

Remy's Girl underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left carpal sprain.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

I'm A Krakouer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Always Primed and Desiree Dancer collided approaching the first turn.  Desiree Dancer and Rusty Model collided approaching the first turn.  Rusty Model checked off Let's Roll on the first turn.  Suspense Rules checked off Inuka approaching the home turn checking Let's Roll.  Always Primed and Kiss Mwah collided approaching the home turn checking Kiss Mwah and Rusty Model.  

Bag Of Tricks and Mighty Tracey collided approaching the first turn.  Why Not Hutch and Twelfth Of Never collided approaching the first turn checking Why Not Hutch, causing Why Not Hutch to fall.  Jay Jay Kersey and Cute Indeed collided approaching the first turn and again approaching the home turn.

Why Not Hutch underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right foreleg.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms. Marion Boyle and acting in accordance with GAR 86(q) commits or omits to do any act or engages in conduct which is in way detrimental or prejudicial to the interest, welfare, image, control or promotion of greyhound racing Stewards issued Ms Boyle with a fine of $250.00 with $150.00 wholly suspended for 12 months pending no further behavioural offences.

This race was delayed by approxiamtely one and a half minutes due to operational issues.

I’m The Greatest was slow to begin.

Foxzami Raptor crossed in approaching the first turn checking Guilty As and Lewis Osti.  Guilty Osti, Baggy's Gold, I'm The Greatest and Our Ryker collided on the first turn severely checking Baggy's Gold, I'm The Greatest and Our Ryker.  I'm The Greatest and Baggy's Gold collided approaching the winning post. 

Stewards spoke to Ms. Vicki Niele regarding the undue delay in boxing Lweis Osti in this event.  Ms. Neile was reminder of her responsibilities pursuant to GAR 51(9).

Woke Up Late and Why Not Gazza were slow to begin.
