All Staff & Participants attending the race-meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the Kennel Block and Associated Buildings and when engaged in the exclusive race-day functions of handling, boxing, starting & catching greyhounds. 

Brother Soldier, Powder Burn and Oamaru Bale were quick to begin. Livia Bale was slow to begin. Got To Spark and Livia Bale collided soon after the start checking Livia Bale. Brother Soldier and Powder Burn collided on the first turn checking Brother Soldier. Omaru Bale galloped on Brother Soldier on the first turn checking Brother Soldier. Shoes Magic and Got To Spark collided approaching the home turn checking Got To Spark. Shoes Magic checked off Livia Bale on the home turn. Got To Spark and Livia Bale collided on the home turn checking Got To Spark.

Shoes Magic underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wound to both hind legs and thumps. No stand down period was imposed.

Justice Done underwent a post-race veterinary examination after failing to enter the catching pen and was found to have a spike wound to the right foreleg. No stand-down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Adelle Powell regarding failure of the Justice Done to enter the catching pen following the running of the event. After hearing evidence from Ms Powell, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners and will monitored in future events.
