Steward's Report
Why Yes was slow to begin.
Wioleta Bale and Deed's Delight collided soon after the start. My Name's Craig and Wioleta Bale collided approaching the first turn checking My Name's Craig. Miss Tickle and My Name's Fergie collided on the first turn. Why Yes, My Name's Craig and Ballara Bullet collided on the first turn. Deed's Delight and Ballara Bullet collided approaching the home turn checking Deed's Delight. Deed's Delight and Ballara Bullet collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight. My Name's Fergie and Mallee Swan collided approaching the winning post.
Deed's Delight underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left fore paw. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Vince Mileto the representative of Deed's Delight regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr Mileto, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.
