Uncharged, Aston Current and Token Supreme were quick to begin. Uncharged and Aston Current collided approaching the first turn. Beautiful Freak and Aston Maximus collided approaching the first turn. Snack Attack, Royal Gossip and Aston Maximus collided on the first turn severely checking Beautiful Freak and causing Royal Gossip to fall. Uncharged and Token Supreme collided approaching the home turn. Uncharged and Aston Maximus collided on the home turn.
Royal Gossip underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left deltoid and pectoral muscles. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
