The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Belle Curve with Mr. George Kantzidis and noted his comments.
Pyramid Express was slow to begin. Take A Sunflower and Nifty Nelly collided approaching the first turn. Belle Curve, Take A Sunflower and Nifty Nelly collided on the first turn. Mercury Iron and Quarantined collided on the first turn. Morticia, Mercury Iron, Take A Sunflower, Quarantined, Pyramid Express and Belle Curve raced wide in the home straight.
Bell Curve underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.
A post-race sample was taken from Lektra Jena - winner of the event.
