Shim Girl and Batman's Dreams collided soon after the start. Shim Girl and Batman's Dreams collided approaching the first turn severely checking both greyhounds. Fernando Mick checked off Another Easy on the first turn. Another Easy and Invictus Jaxson collided approaching the home turn.
Shim Girl underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left deltoid muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
