Prior to Race 4, a kennel attendant notified the Stewards that a greyhound was loose in the secured kennel bay for Race 5. The dog was identified by Stewards and trainer Mr Brendan Jones was notified. Grawlix was placed back into it's allocated kennel. Grawlix was vetted prior to the running of Race 5 and passed fit to race. The matter has been referred to the Club Manager for review. 

Blast Zone and Georgia Pines collided soon after the start. Grawlix and All Inn Ava collided on the first turn. Nenna Tears and Mighty Marshall collided on the first turn. Fernandes clipped the heels of Mighty Marshall approaching the home turn checking Fernandes and Georgia Pines. Blast Zone raced wide in the home straight.

Aston Titan and Morticia were quick to begin. Choir Magic was slow to begin.

Forcefully and Choir Magic collided on the home turn. Steel Magnolia raced wide on the home turn. Steel Magnolia and Morticia raced wide in the home straight.

Crackerjack Nev and Almapa Sunshine collided in the home straight.

Whisky Hans and Kaique collided on the first turn severely checking Kaique. Speedy Spyro and Shinjuku collided on the first turn. Whisky Hans and Shinjuku collided on the home turn severely checking Shinjuku.

Whisky Hans underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a suspected right carpal fracture. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Kaique underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right monkey muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Tat Warby and My Name Heather collided on the first turn. Scott Worth It raced wide and visibly eased approaching the home turn colliding with Fletcher Jay. My Name Heather and Cawbourne Cooper collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Tat Warby, My Name Heather and Cawbourne Cooper collided in the home straight. Tat Warby and Blue Larrikin collided approaching the winning post.

Tat Warby underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right monkey muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Petra Marek regarding the racing manners of approaching the winning post. After hearing evidence from Ms Marek, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.

Scott Worth It underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left deltoid muscle and right calf muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Emma Bowles, the trainer of Scott Worth It regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Scott Worth It was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms Bowles pleaded not guilty to the charge, Scott Worth It was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
