All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the Kennel Block and Associated Buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

Rising Rage - Late scratching at 8.54am when Mr Robert Hayes reported the greyhound to have kennel cough (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Gregarious and Girls Got Rhythm were quick to begin. Why Yes was slow to begin. 

Gregarious and Girls Got Rhythm collided approaching the first turn. On A High and All Inn Maggie collided on the first turn checking On A High. Gregarious and Girls Got Rhythm collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Pretty Fly checked off Girls Got Rhythm approaching the home turn checking All Inn maggie, severely checking Pretty Fly. On A High and All Inn Maggie collided on the home turn checking Pretty Fly and On A High causing All Inn Maggie to fall.

All Inn Maggie underwent a post-race veterinary examiantion and was found to have split webbing on the left foreleg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

More Speed, Gallant Toby and Sukhoi Su collided soon after the start checking Sukhoi Su. Rockstar Manners and Helen's Memory collided on the first turn checking Rockstar Manners. Aston Valkyrie, Gallant Toby and Ishmy Barry collided on the first turn checking Gallant Toby and Ishmy Barry. Gallant Toby and Ishmy Barry collided in the home straight.

Awesome Asset and Grudge collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Unreasonable, Especial Edit, Two Stone Light and Confront collided on the first turn checking Especial Edit, Two Stone Light, Confront and Grudge causing Unreasonable to fall. Especial Edit checked off Confront on the home turn.

Unreasonable underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr Raymond Morgan regarding the racing manners of Argyle Rebel entering the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr Morgan, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight.

Mink Lake was quick to begin.

Black Gemstone and Dalisha Bale collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

My Father's Son was slow to begin.

Caveman Yap, Una Star and Deed's Delight collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Holiday In Paris checked off Vice Grip and collided with Brady's Shout on the first turn checking Brady's Shout and Holiday In Paris. Holiday In Paris and Deed's Delight collided on the third turn checking Holiday In Paris. My Father's Son and Knicks Bale collided entering the home straight. Deed's Delight turned its head inwards and marred Brady's Shout approaching the winning post. My Father's Son turned its head outwards and visibly eased approaching the winning post.

Deed's Delight underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left pectoral muscle, the right pectoral muscle and the right quadriceps. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Philip Clark, the trainer of Deed's Delight regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Deed's Delight was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Clark pleaded guilty to the charge, Deed's Delight was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

My Father's Son underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported, trainer Mr Micheal Chilcott declined to have the greyhound re-vetted.  Stewards spoke to Mr Chilcott, the trainer of My Father's Son regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) My Father's Son was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Chilcott pleaded guilty to the charge, My Father's Son was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ivoria Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainers request and was found to have a dislocated toe and split webbing on the left hind paw. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Kranskey - Late scratching at 1.52pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a laceration. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Balance checked off Lance Link on the first turn and lost ground as a result. Balance and Dewana Jayden collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Balance underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right carpal sprain and an injury to the right pencil muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
