Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Electrifying checked off Rebel May Road on the first turn.  Electrifying and My Bro Lucky collided approaching the second turn checking Electrifying.  Rebel May Road checked off Ricolina Lass on the third turn.  Runnin' Riot checked off Meat Murphy approaching the home turn.

My Bro Lucky underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to an incident in the catching pen, and was found to have a left triangle injury and an abrasion to the left hind foot.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Hardaway Samara – Late scratching at 9.29am when Mr. Terry Burns reported the greyhound to have a calf injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Raquea's Dream, Meehan Marlow and Wolfie's Swagger collided soon after the start.  Shanghai Avatar and Raquea's Dream collided on the first turn checking Raquea's Dream, Meehan Marlow, Cute Indeed and severely checking Shanghai Avatar.  Raquea's Dream and Meehan Marlow collided approaching the home turn checking Raquea's Dream and Cute Indeed.

Jar Man and Why Not Dan were slow to begin, collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Jar Man.  Fast Food Junkie checked off Why Not Bazzar approaching the first turn.  Why Not Dan and Mia's Hand collided on the first turn. 

Charango was slow to begin.

Swift Intention, Dissociative and Steamy Jack collided soon after the start.  Swift Intention, Dissociative, Steamy Jack and Fine Intention collided approaching the first turn checking Fine Intention.  Zipping Whoopi and Burst The Seam collided on the first turn.  Swift Intention, Steamy Jack and Charango collided in the back straight.

Princess America underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
