Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operation upon arrival at the course.

Big Bash Perna underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abraded paw pad on the right foreleg, no stand down period was imposed.

La La Oregon and Grindylow collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Do It, Handsome Jack, Curly Top and Nevilla Bale collided soon after the start checking Curly Top.  Weblec Storm, La La Oregon and Grindylow collided in the front straight.  Curly Top brushed the running rail on the first turn checking Curly Top and La La Oregon.  Lektra Jena and Handsome Jack collided on the first turn checking Lektra Jena and Do It.  Do It checked off Nevilla Bale approaching the second turn.  Curly Top checked off Lektra Jena on the second turn.  Do It and Grindylow collided in the back straight checking Grindylow.

Madalia Champ and Why Not Lilah collided soon after the start.  Smooth Talker and Midnight Titan collided approaching the first turn checking Smooth Talker.

Opal Beach underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind thigh injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Ms A. Langton & Mr J. Shaw failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Weblec Haze and Mepunga Felix for racing.  Ms Langton and Mr Shaw were both fined $100 pursuant to GAR 46 (2)
