Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Elite Rossi.
Inter Vince and Dominus were slow to begin.
Another Attempt crossed out approaching the first turn checking Inter Vince and Romeo Bale. Another Attempt and Blackpool Bolt collided on the first turn checking Blackpool Bolt, severely checking Another Attempt, Romeo Bale, Ginger Meggs, Dominus and Olive's Branch, causing Romeo Lad to lose considerable ground and causing Olive's Branch to fall.
Romeo Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Olive's Branch underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Trainer Mr Luigi Pisano requested that Elite Rossi undergo a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right fore foot dislocated and ligament rupture toe injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards noted there was no photo finish available for this event due to a technical problem.
