Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Your Queen with Trainer Mr John Mangion and noted his comments.
Amnesty Girl, Maddox Bale, Heart Of Rio and Bongino collided on the first turn checking Taipan Jill, Maddox Bale, Heart Of Rio and Bongino. Taipan Jill and Your Queen collided on the first turn. Your Queen checked off Bongino on the home turn. Amnesty Girl lost ground on the home turn. Amnesty Girl and Maddox Bale collided entering the home straight checking Amnesty Girl, Taipan Jill and Maddox Bale.
Taipan Jill underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Your Queen underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Maddox Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr John Mangion and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight.
Amnesty Girl underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury and mild strain to the neck. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Steven Waycott and acting under GAR 75 (1) Stewards ordered Mr Waycott to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Amnesty Girl in the event which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
Supplementary Report 13 September 2020:
Trainer Mr Steven Waycott notified Stewards that the greyhound Amnesty Girl has been vetted and has reported the greyhound has sustained a back muscle and calf injuries.
