Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Son Of Peter, Veracruz and Lot Lizard were slow to begin. Black Jack Tea was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Dinkydi Pippa and Too Far collided approaching the first turn checking Dinkydi Pippa. Son Of Peter and Lot Lizard collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Tory Boyce, Dinkydi Pippa and Edge Serena collided on the first turn checking Dinkydi Pippa and Edge Serena. 

Son Of Peter underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury and an abrasion on the right hind toes. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

A post-race sample was taken from Too Far - the winner of the event. 

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Keep A Bit, a post-race sample was subsequently taken. 

Twilight Psycho and Urana Shelby were slow to begin. Baccala and Keep A Bit collided on the first turn checking Baccala, Cash No Credit and Urana Shelby. Twilight Psycho checked off Cash No Credit approaching the home turn checking Urana Shelby. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Taipan Jill.

Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Your Queen with Trainer Mr John Mangion and noted his comments.

Amnesty Girl, Maddox Bale, Heart Of Rio and Bongino collided on the first turn checking Taipan Jill, Maddox Bale, Heart Of Rio and Bongino. Taipan Jill and Your Queen collided on the first turn. Your Queen checked off Bongino on the home turn. Amnesty Girl lost ground on the home turn. Amnesty Girl and Maddox Bale collided entering the home straight checking Amnesty Girl, Taipan Jill and Maddox Bale. 

Taipan Jill underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Your Queen underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Maddox Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr John Mangion and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. 

Amnesty Girl underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury and mild strain to the neck. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Steven Waycott and acting under GAR 75 (1) Stewards ordered Mr Waycott to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Amnesty Girl in the event which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.

Supplementary Report 13 September 2020:

Trainer Mr Steven Waycott notified Stewards that the greyhound Amnesty Girl has been vetted and has reported the greyhound has sustained a back muscle and calf injuries. 

Zanzibar Icon was slow to begin. Rusty Nail, Weona Bale and Ardmona Miss collided approaching the first turn checking Weona Bale. Wendy Maria and Ardmona Miss collided approaching the first turn checking Wendy Maria. All Inn June, Zanzibar Icon, Husky Freckle and Weona Bale collided on the first turn checking Zanzibar Icon, Husky Freckle and Weona Bale. Ardmona Miss and Loud And Rowdy collided approaching the home turn severely checking Rusty Nail and Ardmona Miss. 

Crazy Old Fool, Lektra Bear and Harry's My Name collided soon after the start checking Lektra Bear. Harry's My Name, Ginny Wolf, Fletcher Jay, Kinloch Journey and State Of Mine collided on the first turn checking Harry's My Name, Ginny Wolf, Kinloch Journey and State Of Mine.

Disgruntled was quick to begin. Be Seeing You, Clovally Granite and My Name's Wally collided soon after the start checking Clovally Granite. Solar Charge, Big Papi and Be Seeing You collided approaching the first turn checking Big Papi. Solar Charge and Be Seeing You collided on the first turn checking Solar Charge. 

Pandora's Blue was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Millenium Star and Argyle Audrey collided on the first turn checking Millennium Star. Not Delivered and Iceni Hunter collided on the home turn checking Not Delivered. Just The Marjen checked off Iceni Hunter approaching the winning post.

Toolleen Town and Belle Curve collided soon after the start checking Belle Curve. Swift Abbey checked off Toolleen Town approaching the first turn. Scott Magic and Twilight Flame collided on the home turn checking National Level and Scott Magic. National Level and Jayla Strike collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Scott Magic and Belle Curve collided in the home straight.

Swift Abbey underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Iceni Riddler was slow to begin. Pandora's Hope was very slow to begin (2 lengths). Oriental Rain, Now And Then and Gap Cabang collided on the first turn checking Now And Then, Gap Cabang and Iceni Riddler. Now And Then checked off Gap Cabang on the home turn.
