Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 &6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

The Healesville track was medium harrowed following the race meeting on Sunday 26th of September.

Apple Valley and Mulwee Jewel were slow to begin. Mulwee Jewel and Polly Pocket collided soon after the start. Polly Pocket and Princess Lace collided at the 200m mark checking Princess Lace. Mulwee Jewel and Miss Cheekiness collided at the 50m mark. Mulwee Jewel, Miss Cheekiness and Taipan Jill collided approaching the winning post checking all three greyhounds. 

Tibetan was slow to begin. Barks A Lot checked off Hotel Motel soon after the start. 

Come On Levendi and Aston Camille collided soon after the start. Front Bar and Ship Of Fools collided soon after the start and again at the 250m mark. Trubelle checked off Aston Camille approaching the 150m mark. Come On Levendi and Black Heel High collided approaching the 100m mark checking Black Heel High. 

A post-race sample was taken from Black Heel High - unplaced in the event.

Pretty Boy Pat was slow to begin and crossed to the outside soon after the start. Lil Gus and Kid Malawi collided soon after the start. Queen Of Promise and One Double Beat collided at the 150m mark and again at the 50m mark checking Queen Of Promise. Now And Then and Husky Freckle collided approaching the 100m mark.

Mr David Schwarz failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Bombardier King for racing.  Mr Schwarz was fined $100 pursuant to GAR 46 (2).

Lea Arandt was slow to begin. Bombardier King and Perfect Flossy collided soon after the start. Loobys Me Mum shifted out soon after the start causing Bombardier King, Naga Viper and Perfect Flossy to collided checking Bombardier King. Naga Viper and Perfect Flossy collided at the 300m mark. Loobys Me Mum and Also Arandt collided at the 250m mark. Bombardier King, Naga Viper and Perfect Flossy collided at the 250m mark checking Bombardier King and Naga Viper. Lobbys Me Mum and Perfect Flossy collided several times from the 50m mark to the winning post checking Loobys Me Mum. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Slingshot Pete. 

Skittle, Slingshot Pete and Sparkle Motion collided soon after the start. Reiko Boss and Terrah Round collided soon after the start. Sparkle Motion, Terrah Round and Especial Empire collided at the 300m mark. Sparkle Motion and Terrah Round collided at the 300m mark. Skittle checked off Slingshot Pete at the 250m mark. Especial Empire and Terrah Round collided at the 200m mark. Terrah Round crossed to the rails at the 150m mark checking Skittle; Terrah Round collided with Slingshot Pete as a result and lost ground. Slingshot Pete checked off Sparkle Motion approaching the winning post. 

Terrah Round underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left fore toe injury and a spike wound on the left hind toe. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Golden Years. 

Eagle Jet began awkwardly and was slow to begin. Sole Elusion and Zipping Benny collided soon after the start. Atomic Icon crossed to the outside at the 275m mark checking Eagle Jet. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Make A Pat.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately two and a half minutes due to short gaps between races. 

Our Girl Bailee, Chill Winston and Inter Cody collided soon after the start causing Inter Cody to collide with Hardaway George and Make A Pat checking Chill Winston and Hardaway George; Chill Winston stumbled as a result. Chill Winston and Hardaway George collided at the 300m mark. Honey Bourbon and Text Me Later collided at the 250m mark and again at the 200m mark. Honey Bourbon shifted out approaching the 50m mark and collided with Inter Cody checking both greyhounds. 

Percy's Magic was slow to begin. Kraken Smick, Jay Jay Kersey and Slingshot Spirit collided approaching the 50m mark checking Jay Jay Kersey.

Percy's Magic underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left achilles tendon injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Angry Answer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sprians to both wrists. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Kraken Jacki and Our Girl Daisy were slow to begin. Tubark, Our Girl Daisy and Natural Cruiser collided soon after the start. Kraken Jacki and Fearless collided at the 250m mark. Eddie Lee and Our Girl Daisy collided at the 200m mark and again approaching the winning post. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Steve's Uggboot. 

Making Gravy was slow to begin. Ishmy Barry checked off Steve's Uggboot at the 200m mark. Making Gravy and Ishmy Barry collided at the 50m mark. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Lightning Ben. 

Kranskey was slow to begin. Lightning Ben and Spring Silver collided soon after the start and again at the 250m mark. Brayden Lennox and Spring Nugget collided at the 100m mark.

Rapid Hennessy – Field of 4, Distance 300m, Weight 35.3kgs, Box 1, Placed 3rd, Time Run 17.56 Not Cleared, Comment: Eased approaching the winning post. Rapid Hennessey underwent a post-trail veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist sprain. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Jacobite Flower – Field of 4, Distance 300m, Weight 26.3kgs, Box 3, Placed 4th, Time Run 17.64 Cleared, Comment: Cleared All Tracks.

Double Zero – Field of 4, Distance 300m, Weight 36.1kgs, Box 5, Placed 2nd, Time Run 17.45 Cleared, Comment: Cleared to race in Blinkers All Tracks.
