A pre-race sample was taken from Our Girl Bailee.
Twilight Psycho and Ramona were slow to begin.
What Feeling was very slow to begin (3L).
Twilight Psycho checked off Little Winnie on the first turn checking Chaba Charlie. Market Charlie and Little Winnie collided several times entering the home straight and in the home straight. Little Winnie turned it's head outwards and visibly eased in the home straight.
Little Winnie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and re-examined following race 4. Little Winnie was found to have soreness in the right shoulder. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. G. Cowcher, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Little Winnie was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Cowcher pleaded guilty to the charge, Little Winnie must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
