Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Your Queen with representative Mr. John Mangion and noted his comments.
Pat May Joy was slow to begin. All Inn Benny and Tilson collided soon after the start. Son Of Peter and All Inn Benny collided approaching the first turn checking Son Of Peter which stumbled. All Inn Benny contacted the running rail and collided with Tilson, Son Of Peter and Pat May Joy, severely checking all four greyhounds. All Inn Benny and Tilson collided in the home straight.
All Inn Benny underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.
A post-race sample was taken from Token Supreme, winner of the event.
