Steward's Report
Black Catani – Late scratching at 8:20am when trainer Mr. D. Jensen reported the greyhound to have an illness. (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Dodgy Digger and Montanaro were slow to begin. Maddox Bale and Husky Freckle collided approaching the first turn. Zanzibar Icon and Dodgy Digger collided on the first turn checking Dodgy Digger. Zanzibar Icon and Montanaro collided entering the home straight.
A post-race sample was taken from Husky Freckle, winner of the event.
