Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Max Ruby crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Mt. View Sassy and Mt. View Molly. Clonmore and Sand Dance collided soon after the start. Mt. View Sassy and Mt. View Molly collided at the 200m mark checking Mt. View Molly. Mt. View Molly checked off Mt. View Sassy approaching the 50m mark.

Jimmy Goes Bang and Wow Anna collided soon after the start. Patricia Mary and Lektra Kez collided soon after the start. Elite Gift checked off Jimmy Goes Bang at the 250m mark and crossed to the outside. Elite Gift and Petra Bale collided several times from the 200m mark to approaching the winning post.

Crouching Tiger and Destini Arrow were slow to begin.

Kracka Barcia and Addy Belle collided several times soon after the start. Butch Regis crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Kracka Barcia. Kracka Barcia checked off Addy Belle at the 300m mark. Butch Regis checked off Angry Answer approaching the 250m mark and collided with Addy Belle. Addy Belle galloped on Osiris Child at the 250m mark checking both greyhounds. Butch Regis crossed to the outside approaching the 150m mark checking Addy Belle and Osiris Child.

Butch Regis underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right tarsal sprain and a left carpal sprain. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Butch Regis with Mr Gary Edwards and noted his comments.

Tomou Bale was slow to begin.

Run Fast Bonnie, Havelock Keith and She's A Charm collided soon after the start. Run Fast Bonnie and Havelock Keith collided at the 300m mark. Haddi Bale and Small Rose collided approaching the 200m mark.

Thirty Red and Aston Guinness collided soon after the start. Ignite The Stars, Panel and Mac's Mayhem collided at the 300m mark. Challis sprite and Panel collided approaching the 250m mark. Challis Sprite checked off Ignite The Stars approaching the 200m mark. Challis Sprite and Mac's Mayhem collided approaching the 50m mark.
