Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Kalany Bale checked off Meehan Marlow approaching the first turn.  Scream Supreme checked off Take A Sunflower approaching the first turn.  Dark Pearl checked off Take A Sunflower on the first turn and raced wide. 

Scream Supreme underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Silver One was slow to begin.

Bella Sofia faltered approaching the first turn and subsequently pulled up checking Busy Izzy.  Jindivick checked off Roxy Diva on the first turn.  Silver One raced wide on the first turn checking Busy Izzy.

Bella Sofia underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hock fracture.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Roxy Diva underwent a post-race veterinary examination after an incident in the catching pen and was found to have abrasions to the left wrist and foot.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards inspected the track following the running of this event and deemed it suitable for racing.

Always Primed and Jullisa Bale collided soon after the start.  Flirty Talks checked off Ieisha Bale approaching the first turn.  Flirty Talks and Ieisha Bale collided on the first turn.  Flirty Talks checked off Why Not Gigi entering the home straight.  Jullisa Bale and Ieisha Bale collided in the home straight. 

Violation was quick to begin.  Aqua Percy was slow to begin.

Ginger Meggs checked off Violation on the first turn checking Roll Your Eyes.  Black Hog Ride galloped on Violation approaching the home turn checking Black Hog Ride.  Black Hog Ride and Aqua Percy collided several times entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Tilly Lee crossed to the rail soon after the start.  Mystic Rose checked off Tiggerlong Grace on the first turn.  Jebrynah Echo and Mystic Rose collided approaching the home turn.  Jebrynah Echo and Tilly Lee collided entering the home straight.

Blazing Strings was slow to begin.

Why Not Lilah, Rothwell Gal and Rall's Girl collided soon after start checking Rothwell Gal.  Maximum Jemma contacted the running rail approaching the home turn.

Why Not Bazzar was quick to begin.

Crimson Knight and Kraken Jacki collided soon after the start, Kraken Jacki faltered and lost considerable ground as a result. It's A Drama checked off Run Baba Run approaching the first turn.  Crimson Knight contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground.  Run Baba Run contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground checking Lemonade Kid and It's A Drama.  Crimson Knight checked off Run Baba Run approaching the home turn.  Walk On Bye and Why Not Bazzar collided in the home straight.  

Kraken Jacki underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Representative Mr Harrison Goss requested that Crimson Knight undergo a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left lateral radius laceration.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Romeo Lad was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

My Dewana Penny, Zipping Benson and True Alpha collided on the first turn.  Romeo Lad raced wide on the first turn.  Parabellum and Patches Colour collided approaching the second turn.  My Dewana Penny checked off Cee Me Snoop on the third turn checking Parabellum, Patches Colour and Romeo Lad.  Parabellum, My Dewana Penny and Patches Colour collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight checking all three greyhounds.  

My Dewana Penny underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right front foot laceration.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Why Not Luv and Hartland Digger were slow to begin.

Let's Roll checked off Cloncurry Girl approaching the first turn checking Cloncurry Girl.  Why Not Luv and Hartland Digger collided approaching the home turn.  Desiree Dancer, My Girl Mel, Why Not Dan and Hartland Digger collided entering the home straight checking Hartland Digger and Let's Roll.  Cloncurry Girl and Hartland Digger collided in the home straight.

Bubba Jo was quick to begin.  It's Not Fun was slow to begin.  Melanistic was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Melanistic raced wide approaching the home turn.  Knuckles and Ebonique collided on the home turn.  Ebonique and Baby Pechey collided entering the home straight.  Bubba Jo checked off Alumni in the home straight. 

Break The Plate was slow to begin.

Super Nat checked off Ikora Bale approaching the first turn.  Tiggerlong Al and Take A Daisy collided on the first turn checking Tiggerlong Al.  Super Nat and Ikora Bale collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn.  Ikora Bale checked off Tiggerlong Al on the home turn. Shaun John and Take A Daisy collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Dirty Stella was momentarily caught on the racing rug of Eastern Faith approaching the home turn.

Trainer Mr John Paterson requested that Cheeky Bumpa undergo a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock sprain.  A 21 stand down period was imposed.
