Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Mahogany Storm.
Honey Edition was quick to begin. Riverdale Tommy was very slow to begin (3L). Ashby Swift and Bobbie Buble collided approaching the first turn checking Ashby Swift which brushed the running rail. Tanner Max eased on the first turn. Tanner Max and Riverdale Bear collided approaching the home turn checking Riverdale Bear. Riverdale Tommy, Ashby Swift and Riverdale Bear raced wide in the home straight.
Ashby Swift underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a minor abrasion left hind paw . No day stand down period was imposed.
Tanner Max underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right hindleg abrasions and left hindleg spike wound a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, John Barbara regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Tanner Max was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Barbara pleaded guilty to the charge, Tanner Max was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Pass It On – fail to chase- Field of 6, Distance 400m, Weight 31.4 kg, Box 1, Placed 1st, Time Run 22.51 - Comment: Cleared All Tracks.
Viking Junior – unsat - Field of 6, Distance 400m, Weight 33.2kg, Box 2, Placed 2nd, Time Run 22.57- Comment: Cleared All Tracks except, Bendigo and Sandown.
Dusty Lyn – fail to chase - Field of 6, Distance 400m, Weight 30.2 kg, Box 3, Placed 3rd, Time Run 23.29 - Comment: Cleared All Tracks except, Meadows and Warrnambool.
Bundy Run – 6 months trial - Field of 6, Distance 400m, Weight 29.6 kg, Box 5, Placed 5th, Time Run 24.02 - Comment: Not Cleared as it was unsatisfactory.
