All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing, starting, and catching greyhounds.

The Stewards spoke to Mr Luckie Karabitsakos, the trainer of Living The Lie in relation to the bona fides of the withdrawal from this race. Stewards noted Mr Karabitsakos' comment and took no further action. 

Weeona Evie was quick to begin.  Okay Flash, Clay Feet and Jet Like Rico were slow to begin.  Little Kevin and She’s Miss Orson collided approaching the first turn checking Little Kevin and Invictus Xavier.  Little Kevin and She’s Miss Orson collided on the first turn checking Little Kevin and Invictus Xavier.  Invictus Xavier faltered in the home straight.

Invictus Xavier underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left hock.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Empress Blaze underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 6. Empress Blaze was found to have an injured left quadriceps muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Hugo and Pyrocumulus collided on the first turn checking Hugo.  Cool Customer and Pyrocumulus collided on the first turn checking Pyrocumulus.  Mr. Neo and Pyrocumulus collided entering the home straight.

Stirling Lights underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured triangle muscle and to have cramped.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp) Stirling Lights must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Rag Time Griff, High Priority and Star Magic collided on the first turn checking Rag Time Griff, High Priority, Star Magic and Pat My Lass.  Hacker and Moon Sister collided approaching the home turn checking Hacker.  Hacker crossed out approaching the home turn checking Zipping Quokka. Rag Time Griff crossed out approaching the home turn checking Star Magic, causing Rag Time Griff and Star Magic to race wide.  High Priority was checked off Pat My Lass entering the home straight.

Zipping Quokka - Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.
