Steward's Report
All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing and catching greyhounds.
Frothy's Jett was quick to begin. Tinker Yap and Crown Sally were slow to begin.
Alira Gem and Joyous Memory collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Alira Gem contacted the rail on the first turn. Joyous Spirit and Blue Cherry Miss collided approaching the home turn. Tinker Yap and Joyous Memory raced wide in the home straight.
Alira Gem underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
A post-race sample was taken from Frothy's Jett - the winner of the event.
