Steward's Report
Pure Mania, Golden Avatar and Kara The Escapee were quick to begin. Obsession Agogo was slow to begin.
Avery Charm and Una's Boy collided soon after the start. Avery Charm, Una's Boy and Ducati Star collided approaching the first turn checking Avery Charm and Una's Boy. Trash and Pure Mania collided on the first turn. Trash, Pure Mania, Golden Avatar and Ducati Star collided on the first turn checking Pure Mania and Ducati Star. Trash and Golden Avatar collided approaching the home turn.
Trash underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Mr P Pace the trainer of Trash regarding its performance on the first turn. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Trash must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.was reported.
A post-race sample was taken from Ducati Star - the winner of the event.

Jimmy Goes Bang - Subsequent to the race meeting Trainer Ms R. Dudley advised that the greyhound was examined and found to have a left thigh, right triangle and right quadriceps injury. Ms Dudley advised that the greyhound would have a brief let up prior to racing again.
