Kraken Ruben, Balance and Quicker Than Joe collided approaching the first turn. Nitro Gee and Balance collided on the first turn severely checking Balance which tailed off as a result. Mizuki Rose and Rhymes Valley collided on the home turn.
Balance underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
