All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

The closing time of kennelling was altered in accordance with GAR 31 when Trainer Ms C. Jayakody telephoned the Club to explain that she would be late due to a delay en route.  The kennels closed approximately five minutes late at 2.49pm.

Unique Faith was quick to begin.

Stella's Memory and Unique Faith collided soon after the start.  Max Surprise and Miss Molly May collided approaching the first turn checking Hone Your Skills, Miss Molly May and Max Surprise.  Stella's Memory and Unique Faith collided on the first turn.  Max Surprise and Whiz Out collided entering the home straight.  Stella's Memory crossed out in the home straight checking Max Surprise.  

Stewards spoke to Mr. Tom Boemkhe regarding the racing manners of Stella's Memory in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Boemkhe, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.

A pre-race sample was taken from Pure Mania.

Rock Opera was quick to begin.  Phoenix Flight was slow to begin.

Riverdale Tifany and Wild Keyra collided soon after the start.  Wild Keyra checked off Pure Mania on the first turn checking Riverdale Tifany.  Riverdale Tifany and Wild Keyra collided approaching the home turn.  Wild Keyra and Lonely Jenny collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Wild Keyra checked off Phoenix Flight entering the home straight.

Finch was quick to begin.  Gladiator Hulk was slow to begin.

See Me Willow and Another Mick collided soon after the start.  Gladiator Hulk and Max McCartin collided on the first turn.

Gladiator Hulk underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

A post-race sample was taken from Tokyo Ted - winner of the event. 

Trainer Mrs Julie Chilcott presented Chillout Cookie to the on-track veterinarian pre-race.  Chillout Cookie was a late scratching at 4.05pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a right carpal sprain.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.  

Cloudy Diamond was slow to begin.

Winslet Bale and Assume Kealy collided several times from the first turn to approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  

A post-race sample was taken from Two Up Tommy - winner of the event.  

Cool Story Bro – Late scratching at 2.07pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr Nathan Hunt was fined $100.

Aston Elsie quick to begin. Cawbourne Mimma and Uringa were slow to begin.

Cawbourne Mimma galloped on Tinker Cindy on the first turn.  Uringa and Tinker Cindy collided on the first turn.  

A post-race sample was taken from Aston Elsie - winner of the event.  

She's Something - The frequency of racing was discussed with Trainer Mr N. Walsh, his comments were noted.

Brave Traveller was quick to begin.  She's Something was slow to begin.

Brave Traveller and Saint Jett collided approaching the first turn checking Saint Jett.  Grey Not Blue and Explosive Yaala collided on the first turn checking Grey Not Blue.  She's Something and Explosive Yaala collided approaching the home turn.  

Katie Cortis and See Me Bespoked collided approaching the first turn.  Katie Cortis crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Erupting Avatar.  Magnis Bale and Katie Cortis raced wide in the home straight.  

Crumb Snags was slow to begin.

Aston Tribute and Sizzlin' Sanchez collided on the first turn.  Crumb Snags and Sizzlin' Sanchez collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Short Tyson.

Atomic Icon was quick to begin.

Our Harriet and Jimmy Goes Bang collided approaching the first turn checking Jimmy Goes Bang.  

Jimmy Goes Bang underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to Trainer Ms Rebekah Dudley regarding the performance of the greyhound in the event. In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Ms. Dudley to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running ofJimmy Goes Bang in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.

A post-race sample was taken from Atomic Icon - winner of the event. 

Supplementary Report

Jimmy Goes Bang - Subsequent to the race meeting Trainer Ms R. Dudley advised that the greyhound was examined and found to have a left thigh, right triangle and right quadriceps injury. Ms Dudley advised that the greyhound would have a brief let up prior to racing again.

A pre-race sample was taken from Southern Thunder.

Southern Thunder underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was deemed suitable to race.

Winlock Dyno was quick to begin.  Riverdale Bear and Southern Thunder were slow to begin.

Mr. Daver checked off Flying Brae on the first turn.  Southern Thunder brushed the running rail on the first turn.  Mr. Daver raced wide in the home straight.  Trout and Flying Brae collided in the home straight.

Southern Thunder underwent a post-race veterinary examination after an incident in the catching pen and was found to have a bruising and spike wound to the left stopper, bruising and spike wound to the right tarsal and a left hip injury.  A  28 day stand down period was imposed.

Tinker Mighty – Unsatisfactory Performance - Field of 7, Distance 400m, Weight 32.0 kg, Box 2, Placed 3rd, Time Run 23.42 - Comment: Not Cleared. Eased in the home straight. Post-trial veterinary examination found to have a left monkey muscle injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Doughnut – Cramp - Field of 7, Distance 400m, Weight 34.3 kg, Box 4, Placed 5th, Time Run 23.55 - Comment: Cleared All Tracks.

Meat Up – Fail to Chase - Field of 7, Distance 400m, Weight 27.9 kg, Box 5, Placed 7th, Time Run 26.31 - Comment: Not Cleared. Faltered on the first turn and lost ground. Post-trial veterinary examination - no apparent innury was reported.

Krakatoa – 6 months - Field of 7, Distance 400m, Weight 30.0 kg, Box 6, Placed 1st, Time Run 23.22 - Comment: Cleared All Tracks.

Mega Heist – Fail to Chase due to Injury & Blinkers On - Field of 7, Distance 400m, Weight 27.5 kg, Box 7 Placed 4th, Time Run 23.43 - Comment: Cleared All Tracks except, Bendigo. Cleared to race in blinkers.

Mac's A Million – Blinkers On - Field of 7, Distance 400m, Weight 28.5 kg, Box 8, Placed 6th, Time Run 23.58 - Comment: Cleared All Tracks.Cleared to race in blinkers.
