Perfect Treasure and Zambora Lou collided soon after the start. Pirates Patch and Spun Out collided approaching the 300m mark. Perfect Treasure, Zambora Lou and Superior Wallis collided approaching the 200m mark. Silver Man and Spun Out collided approaching the 150m mark. Blackpool Astro checked off Pirates Patch at the 100m mark. Zambora Lou and Silver Man collided at the 50m mark and again approaching the winning post.
A post-race sample was taken from Hello George - the winner of the event.
Due to a technical malfunction with the timing sensor, the semaphore board briefly displayed the incorrect win time for this event as 18:81; the time was amended to the official win time of 19:03 as the placings were semaphored.
Stewards opened and adjourned an Inquiry involving licensed Catcher, Ms. Mandy Scott, into a breach of GAR 44 for filming in the catching pen area following the running of this Event. This Inquiry will reconvene at a time and date to be determined to allow Stewards to assess the evidence before them.
