The times for this race meeting were amended due to the Veterinary Surgeon being delayed on track. The time of this event was amended from 1:58pm to 2:31pm.

Deputy Sam was slow to begin. Masalki, Bee Lucky Banjo and Fake Shot collided on the first turn. Masalki checked off Princess Deb approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Masalki and Deputy Sam collided on the home turn checking Deputy Sam.

Got One Fernando was slow to begin. Two Up Tommy and Magical Max collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Two Up Tommy. Greysynd Shock checked off Happy Dance approaching the home turn. Greysynd Shock shifted out on the home turn and collided with Happy Dance causing both greyhounds to race wide. Two Up Tommy and Greysynd Shock collided in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Michael Chilcott, trainer regarding the racing manners of Greysynd Shock on the home turn.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Chilcott, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.

Alabama Cruise was slow to begin. Edgy Jack crossed to the rail soon after the start checking I'm A Psycho. Chasing Summer and Edgy Jack collided on the first turn. Inky's Fireball and I'm A Psycho collided approaching the home turn checking I'm A Psycho. Chasing Summer, Inky's Fireball and Edgy Jack collided in the home straight checking Inky's Fireball and Edgy Jack.

The time of this event was amended from 2:52pm to 3:34pm.

Chasing Love was quick to begin. Prince Archer and Time Turner collided approaching the first turn. Time Turner and Evil Entry collided on the first turn. Prince Archer and Crown Jimmy collided approaching the home turn checking Prince Archer which collided with Evil Entry. Chasing Love and Buster's Choice collided on the home turn causing Buster's Choice to fall, severely checking Jilly Be Brave which stumbled. Evil Entry turned it's head outwards and collided with Crown Jimmy in the home straight. Time Turner turned it's head inwards and marred Chasing Love approaching the winning post, severely checking Chasing Love and checking Crown Jimmy.

Buster's Choice underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Jilly Be Brave underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right chest muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Time Turner underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left monkey muscle. A 10 day stand down period was found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Reginald Marriner, the trainer of Time Turner regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Time Turner was charged with marring.  Mr. Marriner pleaded guilty to the charge, Time Turner was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Evil Entry underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. John Caulfield, the trainer of Evil Entry regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Evil Entry was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Caulfield pleaded guilty to the charge, Evil Entry was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Richard Boehm regarding the racing manners of Chasing Love in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Boehm, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.

Daisy Hill Lad and Brindle Fire collided soon after the start. Lucky Shiraz checked off Brindle Fire on the first turn. Brindle Fire checked off Daisy Hill Lad in the back straight. All Over Elly faltered in the back straight and tailed off as a result. Another Episode turned it's head inwards and marred Daisy Hill Lad on the home turn.

All Over Elly underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Another Episode underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right flexor tendon and monkey muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Brian Brown, the trainer of Another Episode regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Another Episode was charged with marring. Mr. Brown pleaded guilty to the charge, Another Episode was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Michael Pell regarding the racing manners of Lucky Shiraz.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Pell, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

Rotarua and Table Top collided on the first turn. Rotarua and China Catch 'Em collided approaching the home turn checking China Catch 'Em.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of China Catch 'Em became dislodged during the running of this event.
