Fontella underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

La La Louis, Dewana Success and Way To Important collided soon after the start. La La Louis and Dewana Success collided on the first turn. La La Louis, Dewana Success and Zipping Miranda collided on the second turn. Dash Of Reyne and All Inn Benny collided on the home turn. Dewana Success and Midnight Titan collided approaching the winning post.

Jannila underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind third toe. No stand down period was imposed.

Choir Magic was slow to begin. Century Rocks and Ultimate Avenger collided soon after the start checking Century Rocks. Meehan Marlow, Bound To Succeed, Ultimate Avenger and Aston Silk collided on the first tur severely checking Meehan Marlow and Ultimate Avenger and causing Bound To Succeed to fall. Meehan Marlow and Choir Magic collided approaching the home turn.

Bound To Succeed underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right quadricep injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Bound To Succeed became dislodged during the running of this event.

Seabrook Stack, Zambora Lion, Rezzie's Choice and Spearhead collided on the first turn checking Rezzie's Choice. Blueberry Hill and Spearhead collided approaching the second turn checking Blueberry Hill. Destini Catalina, Zambora Lion and Spearhead collided on the second turn checking Zambora Lion and Spearhead. Rezzie's Choice and Zambora Lion collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.

Destini Catalina underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer's request and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind second toe. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Kannella – New declared weight of 34.0kg, last raced at 32.9kg.
