All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

Harden and Och Eye Mum were slow to begin. 

Och Eye Mum checked off Heart Of Gold approaching the first turn. Whatever I Say and Post Office Girl collided approaching the first turn checking Whatever I Say. Heart Of Gold turned its head outwards and raced wide on the first turn colliding with Whatever I Say, both greyhounds were severely checked as a result. Och Eye Mum and Heart Of Gold collided entering the home straight. Heart Of Gold turned its head outwards and collided with Och Eye Mum approaching the winning post.

Heart Of Gold underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left hamstring. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Robert Le Sueur regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn and in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Heart Of Gold was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Le Sueur pleaded guilty to the charge, Heart Of Gold was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Mepunga Allie - the winner of the event.

Following the running of the event the semaphore board momentarily displayed the incorrect placings. The numbers were corrected before the all clear was declared. 

Catcher Mr Bart Russo was reminded of his responsibilities to ensure that he wears a fitted face-mask when catching greyhounds. Any further non-compliance issues may see him being removed from course under GAR 20 (3) (n).

Blazin' Zen was slow to begin.

Wild Aces Agogo and Viking Junior collided soon after the start. Wild Aces Agogo, Viking Junior and Madame Josie collided on the first turn. Viking Junior and Madame Josie collided entering the back straight checking Madame Josie. Blazin' Zen and Madame Josie collided in the back straight checking Madame Josie. Wild Aces Agogo and Viking Junior collided on the third turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Westar Carrie.

Westar Carrie, Ishmy Neecy, Minter Blaze, Ask For More, Arcanine, Jump Into Action and Rockin' Rosie collided on the first turn checking Westar Carrie, Arcanine, Jump Into Action and Rockin' Rosie severely checking Ishmy Neecy, Minter Blaze and Ask For More.

Kayden's Tiger and Destruction collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Kayden's Tiger. 

A post-race sample was taken from Handsome Rhino - the winner of the event.

Handsome Rhino underwent a post-race veterinary examination after the greyhound was observed to be lame whilst Stewards were taking a post-race sample. Handsome Rhino was found to have a left thigh injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Mepunga Knight and Zipping Norman collided soon after the start. Palace Lady and Zipping Norman collided soon after the start. Aston Champagne and Mepunga Knight collided on the first turn. Anubis Al and Palace Lady collided entering the home straight.

Yeah Easy and Minter Rise were slow to begin.

Minter Rise and Kenny The Brute collided soon after the start. Star Blazer, Yeah Easy, Minter Rise, Kenny The Brute and Caveman Yap collided on the first turn checking Star Blazer and Yeah Easy severely checking Minter Rise, Kenny The Brute and Caveman Yap. Star Blazer and Kenny The Brute collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking both greyhounds. Yeah Easy and Kenny The Brute collided on the third turn.

Toyed and Tron collided soon after the start. Close Encounter and Inga Ollie collided on the first turn. Inga Ollie checked off Tron on the third turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Nice And Easy - the winner of the event.

Hill Top Jack - Late scratching at 12.28pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr David Geall was fined $100.
