All persons attending the venue today carried face masks, observed social distance requirements, and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.

Acacia Dream was quick to begin.

Seabrook Baker and Siren Head collided soon after the start. Theatre Of War and Seabrook Baker collided approaching the first turn. Seabrook Baker raced wide approaching the home turn. Theatre Of War checked off Siren Head in the home straight. Jacobite Knight tired in the concluding stages of the race.

Jacobite Knight underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the left side of the skull.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Down To Business – Late scratching at 4.48pm under GAR 37(4) on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian after the greyhound was found to be infested with fleas.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance stating the condition no longer exists before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Pure Mania was quick to begin. My Wanderer was slow to begin. 

Things You Do, Simply Slick and Way Up North collided approaching the first turn. Things You Do checked off Simply Slick on the first turn. Simply Slick checked off Pure Mania approaching the home turn. Pure Mania raced wide on the home turn and collided with Way Up North. Pure Mania checked of Way Up North in the home straight. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. K.Howat regarding the racing manners of Pure Mania in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr. K.Howat, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

Litigator checked off Gemma Blue on the first turn, causing Me Silly, Litigator and Code Blue Sue to collide and checking Code Blue Sue and Litigator. Gemma Blue and Sonny Daze collided in the home straight. 

Volcanic Lava underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
