An out of competition sample was taken from Sugar Plum Fairy on 5th May 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Center and Ballistic Breeze collided approaching the first turn checking Center.  Double On Ice and Bully Bar collided approaching the first turn.  Ballistic Breeze and Fat Cracker collided on the first turn.  Sugar Plum Fairy crossed out on the first turn severely checking Center and Double On Ice.  Fat Cracker contacted the running rail on the home turn.

Fat Cracker underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

This race was delayed by approximately 7 minutes due to an issue with the spindles on the rail.

Gold Skulltula was quick to begin. Star Burner was slow to begin. Gold Skulltula and Short Fine Leg collided approaching the first turn.  Hypo Harry crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Hypo Harry and Nathan Ryder. Jayville Menace and Omega Sierra collided on the first turn. Sorell raced wide on the home turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Gold Skulltula - the winner of the event.

Bonnie Goes Bang was quick to begin.  Swing High was slow to begin.  Great Scout and Lonesome Bee collided soon after the start.  Bonnie Goes Bang and Second Pick collided on the first turn checking Bonnie Goes Bang.

A pre-race sample was taken from Jaxson Mino.

Jaxson Mino was quick to begin.  Madalia Brodie was slow to begin.  Peter Coin and Zheng collided on the first turn checking Zheng.  Jaxson Mino and Merinda collided on the first turn checking Jaxson Mino.

A post-race sample was taken from Merinda - the winner of the event.

Addie Attitude and California Blond were slow to begin.  Victory Chase and Patience Pays collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Victory Chase and Addie Attitude collided on the first turn.  California Blond and Judge Hook collided on the first turn.  Black Hog Ride and Patience Pays collided on the first turn checking Patience Pays.  Victory Chase raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Lightning Fury was slow to begin.  Just Augusta, Aston Sunset and Delancy Bale collided on the first turn checking Aston Sunset.  Just Augusta and Delancy Bale collided on the first turn.  Ethan's Fury checked off Just Augusta entering the back straight checking Aston Sunset.  Just Augusta checked off Delancy Bale entering the home straight.

Too Be Sure and Select Charlie were slow to begin.  Aston Resort checked off Two Phones soon after the start.  Aston Resort and Lamotta collided approaching the first turn.  Aston Resort checked off Lamotta on the first turn checking Aston Resort.  Captain Cruiser and Majestic Mojo collided on the first turn checking Captain Cruiser.  Aston Resort and Captain Cruiser collided several times from the home turn to the home straight.

Select Charlie underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Majestic Mojo underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer's request and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Lockwood Lad was slow to begin.  Moroka Magic checked off Head On Bonnie on the first turn.  Bit Twisted and Aston Rosa collided several times from approaching the second turn through to the home turn severely checking both greyhounds.   Head On Bonnie and Bit Twisted collided on the second turn checking Head On Bonnie.  Bit Twisted checked off Aston Rosa in the home straight.

A post-race sample was taken from Massimo - the winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Omega Dodge.

Omega Dodge and Matilda Hook collided approaching the first turn checking Matilda Hook.  My Faith, Matilda Hook and Aston Sylvie collided approaching the first turn checking Matilda Hook severely checking Aston Sylvie.  Citadel Of Chaos and My Faith collided on the home turn.  Matilda Hook checked off Citadel Of Chaos in the home straight.

Shifty was slow to begin. Simon Says and Yazid Bale collided soon after the start.  Taylor's Jewel and Simon Says collided approaching the first turn.  Yazid Bale and Shifty collided on the first turn.  Simon Says galloped on Gracie's Girl approaching the home turn severely checking Gracie's Girl.  Taylor's Jewel and Gracie's Girl collided on the home turn.  Shifty and Gracie's Girl collided several times on the home turn.

Reinforced and Stay At Home were slow to begin.  Barwidgi and Dale From Sale collided on the first turn.  Reinforced and Stay At Home collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Barwidgi and Dale From Sale collided on the first turn severely checking Dale From Sale.  Dale From Sale and Stay At Home collided on the first turn checking Dale From Sale.

Camila was quick to begin.  Nifty Nelly and Lara's Love collided soon after the start.  Aston Rocket and Lara's Love collided on the first turn.  Lara's Love, Don't Get Lippy and Armstrong Bobby collided on the first turn.  Aston Rocket and Lara's Love collided on the home turn.  Armstrong Bobby checked off Nifty Nelly on the home turn checking Don't Get Lippy.  Armstrong Bobby checked off Nifty Nelly in the home straight.
