Calabrese Gino and Crouching Tiger collided on the first turn. She’s Our Rocket and Busy Izzy collided on the home turn. Bearing Gold was checked off Calabrese Gino on the home turn. Calabrese Gino, She’s Our Rocket, Busy Izzy and Bearing Gold raced wide in the home straight.
Shes Our Rocket underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Burke regarding the racing manners of She’s Our Rocket on the home turn. After hearing evidence from Mr. Burke, viewing all available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.
There was no head on vision of the back straight for this event.
