The closing time of kennelling was altered in accordance with GAR 31, due to the late arrival of several trainers who experienced significant traffic delays on–route to the track.  The kennels closed at 5.45pm. 

Crazy Cool was quick to begin.

Star Book and Angel Glow collided soon after the start.  Graclyn Bale, Vamos Penny, Daph's Ascend and Angel Glow collided on the first turn, Vamos Penny and Daph's Ascend fell as a result.  Star Book checked off Aston Silk collided on the first turn checking Fire On Ice.  Graclyn Bale checked off Star Book in the home straight.  

Vamos underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left stopper - no stand period was imposed.

Daph's Ascend underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Flywheel Bella was quick to begin.  Fortuna Bale was slow to begin.

Carry On Star and Whistling Bullet collided soon after the start.  Whistling Bullet and Dr. Madison collided soon after the start and again on the first turn.  Aston Gwen, Carry On Star, Whistling Bullet and Run Baba Run collided on the first turn checking Dr. Madison.  Run Baba Run and Fortuna Bale collided on the first turn.  Shima Classic checked off Flywheel Bella on the first turn.  Flywheel Bella checked off Shima Classic on the second turn checking Carry On Star.  Whistling Bullet was help up through the third turn.  Aston Gwen and Dr. Madison collided several times approaching the home turn.  Aston Gwen, Whistling Bullet and Dr. Madison collided approaching the home turn.  Dr. Madison and Fortuna Bale collided approaching the home turn.  Shima Classic and Carry On Star collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Pay Call and Mepunga Isla collided soon after the start.  Desert Flame and Pay Call collided soon after the start.  Desert Flame checked off Junk Food Junkie soon after the start.  Pay Call and Mepunga Isla collided several times on the first turn.  Mepunga Isla checked off Maelynn Bale on the first turn checking Harper's Girl.  Junk Food Junkie and Ambitious collided on the first turn.  Pay Call and Mepunga Isla collided heavily on the second turn.  Pay Call checked off Desert Flame in the back straight.  Junk Food Junkie checked off Persian Goddess in the back straight and collided with Ambitious.  Harper's Girl checked off Desert Flame on the home turn checking Pay Call.

Aston Lavinia was quick to begin.  

Vicki's Queen and Highly Explosive collided soon after the start.  Qwara Bale and Dr. Rozzie collided soon after the start.  Aston Lavinia and Strada collided soon after the start.  Vicki's Queen and Mepunga Katie collided on the first turn.  Immunity and Dr. Rozzie collided on the first turn.  Vicki's Queen and Highly Explosive collided on the first turn.  Highly Explosive checked off Immunity on the second turn checking Dr. Rozzie.  Aston Lavinia checked off Immunity on the third turn.  Dr. Rozzie veered out and marred Vicki's Queen approaching the home turn.  Aston Lavinia and Highly Explosive collided approaching the home turn. 

Dr. Rozzie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury and a spike wound to the right wrist.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke Ms Jennifer Gill, the kennel representative of Dr. Rozzie regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69 (1), Dr. Rozzie was charged with marring.  Ms. Gill pleaded guilty to the charge, Dr. Rozie was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Radek Bale underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.

Got The Torque, Radek Bale, Ebby Infrared and Lakeview Walter collided soon after the start checking Ebby Infrared, Lakeview Walter, severely checking Radek Bale and Got The Torque causing Radek Bale to stumble and Got The Torque to falter, both greyhounds lost ground as a result.  Ebby Infrared checked off Lakeview Walter approaching the first turn.  Lots Of Chatter and Well Grounded collided on the first turn.  Ebby Infrared checked off Lakeview Walter on the first turn.  Well Grounded and Weblec Jet collided approaching the second turn.  Lakeview Walter checked off Lots Of Chatter approaching the home turn.  Lakeview Walter and Lots Of Chatter collided entering the home straight.

Got The Torque underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Radek Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Gypsy Yankee was quick to begin.  

Do It and Music Event collided approaching the first turn.  Carry On Angel and Do It collided on the first turn.  Gypsy Yankee and Mr. Fix It collided several times on the first turn.  Ebby Jet Power checked off Mr. Fix It on the first turn and collided with Do It.  Ebby Jet Power checked off Mr. Fix It on the third turn.  Do It and Mr. Fix It collided approaching the home turn.

Fernando Bluey was quick to begin.

Mepunga Warrior and Keep It Black collided soon after the start.  Jarick Bale and Rollo Ragner collided on the first turn.  Keep It Black checked off Shima Jake on the first turn.  Keep It Black galloped on Shima Jake approaching the second turn, Shima Jake faltered and tailed off as a result.  Jarick Bale checked off Rollo Ragnar in the back straight and collided with Mepunga Warrior.  Catch The Thief was held up through the third turn.  Jarick Bale and Keep It Black collided approaching the second turn checking Mepunga Warrior.  Fernando Bluey and Canya Cruise raced tightly and collided several times approaching the home turn, on the home turn and in the home straight.  

Shima Jake underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Sovereign Wind and Tiggerlong Tonk were quick to begin.  Equalizer was slow to begin.

Sunset Spitfire underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have lost a right hind toe nail.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A Post-race urine sample was taken from Tiggerlong Tonk (1st) and a blood sample was taken from Equalizer (2nd).

Hank The Hustler was quick to begin.  We The People and His Stop It were slow to begin.

We The People checked off Maggie Moo Moo on the second turn.  We The People and Maggie Moo Moo collided on the third turn.  Blazing Cartier, We The People and Maggie Moo Moo collided heavily on the third turn.  His Stop It tired over the concluding stages.

Zack Monelli was quick to begin.  Burn Time was slow to begin.

Lizzie's Entity and Whatever I say collided on the first turn.  Zipping Rambo checked off Lizzie's Entity on the first turn and collided with Whatever I Say.  Star Blazer and Lunar Star collided on the first turn.  Lizzie's Entity galloped on Whatever I Say on the first turn.  Zipping Rambo and Whatever I Say collided on the third turn.  Weblec Haze and Lizzie's Entity collided on the third turn.  Star Blazer checked off Weblec Haze on the third turn and collided with Lunar Star.
