All persons attending the venue today carried face masks, observed social distance requirements, and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.

Rock You Queen was quick to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Cosmetic Rose. Clay Feet and Makayla's Diva were slow to begin.

Tinker Hazard and Rock You Queen collided approaching the first turn. Miss Marlee Moo and Mystic Muse collided on the first turn checking Cosmetic Rose. Mystic Muse and Miss Marlee Moo collided approaching the home turn. Makayla's Diva and Clay Feet collided approaching the home turn. Makayla's Diva raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to the Starter and advised them to be more audible when calling the greyhounds into line. 

Sparkle Debacle was quick to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Stella's Memory. Stella's Memory, Go Flo, Tinker Joy and Swift Trance collided soon after the start. Tinker Joy, Swift Trance and Only Dream collided approaching the first turn. Go Flo and Stella's Memory collided approaching the first turn. Miss Molly May, Go Flo and Tinker Joy collided approaching the home turn, Swift Trance and Only Dream collided approaching the home turn. Miss Molly May and Go Flo collided approaching the home turn. Miss Molly May checked off Go Flo on the home turn. Miss Molly May, Go Flo and Swift Trance collided entering the home straight causing Swift Trance and Only Dream to collide.

Phoenix Flight and Nana Jill were slow to begin.

Butterfly Indee and Birdbrook collided soon after the start. Butterfly Indee, Birdbrook, Heart Of Gold and Crown Suzie collided on the first turn checking Birdbrook, Heart Of Gold and Crown Suzie. Phoenix Flight and Crown Suzie collided approaching the home turn checking Crown Suzie. Och Eye Mum raced wide entering the home straight. Pacific Express and Nana Jill collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight checking Nana Jill.

A post-race sample was taken from Pacific Express - the winner of the event.

Duck Duck Dash – New declared weight of 30.4 kg, last raced at 32.2 kg. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Shivers.

Thundering Don stumbled at boxrise and was very slow to begin (4L).

Battlers and Shim's Heart collided soon after the start. Shim's Heart and Fancy Trance collided approaching the first turn. Shivers and Iceni Boudica collided approaching the first turn. Battlers Three and Iceni Boudica collided on the first turn checking Iceni Boudica. Duck Duck Dash and Shim's Heart collided approaching the home turn. Battlers Three, Fancy Trance and Shivers collided entering the home straight checking Shivers and Battlers Three.

Bound By, Loch and Westside Warrior were slow to begin.

Lala Grapefruit and Westside Warrior collided soon after the start. Bound By and Loch collided approaching the first turn checking Loch. Lala Grapefruit and Westside Warrior collided on the first turn checking Westside Warrior. Westside Warrior checked off Wolf Shadow approaching the home turn checking Lala Grapefruit. Loch checked off Lala Grapefruit on the home turn. Loch raced wide entering the home straight. 

A post-race sample was taken from Gintoki Bale - the winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Pete Cabang.

Divine Dixie checked off Pete Cabang soon after the start and crossed out wide. Aston Paquin and Brindle Fire collided approaching the first turn. Aston Paquin, Brindle Fire and Valletta Sky collided on the first turn checking Brindle Fire. Aston Paquin and Valletta Sky collided approaching the home turn checking Aston Paquin. Solar Tiny and Pete Cabang collided approaching the home turn. Brindle Fire and Divine Dixie collided approaching the home turn. Aston Paquin checked off Brindle Fire in the home straight.

Brave Traveller – Late scratching at 2.47 pm due to the greyhound not being presented in the required kennelling time (GAR 31).  Due to the circumstances surrounding the non–presentation kennel representative, Ms. E. Frost was fined $250.

Lyrical Lad and Riverdale Tommy were slow to begin. 

Uniquely Mine checked off Silver Compass approaching the first turn. Leo's My Champ checked off Silver Compass on the first turn.

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.

Jetta's Shout was quick to begin. Upright was slow to begin.

Stan's Hope and Miss Marley collided soon after the start. Stan's Hope, Miss Marley, Una Star and Annie My Mate collided on the first turn. Una Star and Annie My Mate collided entering the back straight. Upright, Stan's Hope and Annie My Mate collided on the second turn and again approaching the home turn checking Stan's Hope. Stan's Hope and Big Little Sis collided approaching the home turn checking Stan's Hope. Miss Marley turned its head inwards towards Jetta's Shout entering the home straight and in the home straight.

Miss Marley underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Bartlett, the representative of Miss Marley regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight and in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Miss Marley was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Bartlett pleaded guilty to the charge, Miss Marley was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at ballarat all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Following this event Stewards downgraded the track to slow at 5.30pm.

Winslet Bale and Loretta Bale collided soon after the start. Rock Opera and Inga Assalt collided soon after the start. Rock Opera, Charm Offensive, Island Chief and Sky Show collided approaching the first turn. Charm Offensive checked off Island Chief approaching the first turn. Lamont Bale, Winslet Bale, Island Chief and Rock Opera collided on the first turn checking Winslet Bale severely checking Island Chief and Rock Opera which lost ground. Lamont Bale and Sky Show collided approaching the home turn.

Following the running of this event, Stewards further inspected the track after heavy rainfall. Stewards were of the opinion that the track had deteriorated to a point were it was unsatisfactory for racing due to the rain. Upon review of the Bureau Of Meteorology Radar more rain was forcecasted for the local area. Subsequently, Stewards abandoned Race 10, 11 and 12 at 6.05 pm.
