Queen Of Mojo and Liberty Royal were slow to begin.  Chief’s Shout and Earn The Loot collided approaching the first turn.  Chief’s Shout, Earn The Loot and Pat My Lass collided on the first turn checking Earn The Loot.  Queen Of Mojo brushed the running rail on the first turn.  Earn The Loot and Pat My Lass collided entering the home straight and in the home straight.

Click And Win was slow to begin.  Bigsy, Brazen King and Jafar Bale collided soon after the start. Click And Win underwent a post race veterinary examination after falling past the winning post, no apparent injury was reported.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Mario Bale with Mr. L. Harris and noted their comments.

Connor Man was slow to begin.  Good Boy Colombo was checked off Connor Man approaching the first turn.  Lady Loch crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Lunar Halo, Connor Man, Kamara Bale and Lady Loch.  Good Boy Colombo was checked off Kamara Bale on the first turn. Wally Hook turned it’s head out and collided with Key Evidence approaching the winning post.

Wally Hook underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right monkey muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. C. Galea, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Wally Hook was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Galea pleaded not guilty to the charge, Wally Hook was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards inquired into an incident that occurred behind the starting boxes after the boxing of the greyhounds had occurred. During the inquiry, Mr. Louie Forte was charged under GAR 86 (q) for engaging in conduct that was detrimental or predjudicial to the interests and image of greyhound racing. Mr Forte pleaded guilty to the charge. A fine of $250 was issued. 

Top Faith and Why Not Colby collided soon after the start.  Disorientated, Why Not Gigi, Patricia Maureen and Moody Girl collided on the first turn checking Why Not Gigi.  Moody Girl and Top Faith collided approaching the home turn checking Moody Girl.

Aston Bintang was quick to begin.  One Thrill and Deadly Walk collided approaching the first turn checking Deadly Walk.  One Thrill, Jebrynah Octave and Migration collided on the first turn checking Jebrynah Octave and Migration. 

Flying Fifi was quick to begin.  Ha Ha Magoo was slow to begin.  Ha Ha Magoo was checked off Flying Fifi approaching the first turn. Flying Fifi was checked off Sweet Chanelle on the first turn. Why Not Hutch and Mow A Meadow collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Flying Fifi was checked off Sweet Chanelle approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight. Sweet Chanelle tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Rizzo underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Aubameyang was quick to begin.  Trance was slow to begin.  Done Time was checked off Aubameyang on the first turn.  Superior Kiki and Go Emmy Go collided on the first turn checking Superior Kiki.  Superior Kiki, Go Emmy Go and Willow Ash collided on the home turn checking Go Emmy Go.
