Ferocious Pedro and Aston Elliot collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Shivering Stone lost ground on the first turn. Ferocious Pedro and Aston Elliot collided on the home turn. Shivering Stone checked off Ferocious Pedro in the home straight. Aston Elliot and Ferocious Pedro collided approaching the winning post.
Shivering Stone underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative Marcus Lloyd regarding the racing manners of Shivering Stone on the first turn.
