Diamond And Rust underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Steven Van Oirschot regarding the greyhound's racing manners. After hearing evidence from Mr. Van Oirschot, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. 

Call To Order underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind achillies, no stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr. Peter Bartlett regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Call To Order was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Bartlett pleaded guilty to the charge, Call To Order was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Get On Beers was slow to begin.  

Get On Beers and Locked And Ready collided approaching the first turn.  Confirm crossed out on the home turn and collided with Zipping Quokka, severely checking Zipping Quakka.  Write About Her raced wide in the home straight.

Roxy Diva was quick to begin.

Phil's My Bro and Roxy Diva collided on the first turn.  Zen Ablaze, High Priority and Explosive Yaala collided on the first turn checking Explosive and severely checking Amazon Queen.  Zen Ablaze, High Priority and Explosive Yaala collided on the home turn.  Piece Of Heaven galloped on Zen Ablaze entering the home straight checking Amazon Queen and Piece Of Heaven.  High Priority and Explosive Yaala collided entering the home straight.  

Aston Hackett shifted out soon after the start checking Wears Woodleigh.  Little Rage crossed out soon after the start checking Always Primed and causing Aston Hackett to gallop on Little Rage, checking Aston Hackett and Wears Woodleigh; Wears Woodleigh brushed the running rail as a result.  Wears Woodleigh raced wide in the home straight.

Henryk Bale – Late scratching at 2:55pm when Mr Luke Harris reported the greyhound to have changed Trainer/Owner (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Yussuf Bale was slow to begin.

Shen Bree Girl and Bit Twisted collided soon after the start.  Shen Bree Girl, Double Dipping and Galloping Albi collided approaching the first turn.  Off It's Chops and Shen Bree Girl collided on the first turn checking Shen Bree Girl severely checking Double Dipping and Teardrop.  Bit Twisted checked off Galloping Albi on the first turn.  Off It's Chops eased approaching the home turn, entering the home straight and turned its head inwards approaching the winning post, checking Galloping Albi.

Off It's Chops underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Representative, Ms Martina Kirillidis declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted. Stewards spoke to Ms. Kirillidis regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Off It's Chops was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms. Karillidis pleaded guilty to the charge, Off It's Chops was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Kingy Lights and Why Not Bazzar collied several times soon after the start to the first turn checking Kingy Lights.  Run Baba Run, Zander and Mystic Rose collided on the first turn checking Zander and Mystic Rose. Mystic Rose checked off Run Baba Run on the home turn.  Zander and Kingy Lights collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Jacky's Eden, Amazing Roy, Stebonheath Lad and Mighty Tracey collided soon after the start checking Jacky's Eden, Amazing Roy and Stebonheath Lad.  Jacky's Eden clipped the heels of Mighty Tracey on the first turn.  Stebonheath Lad checked off Amazing Roy on the first turn.  Amazing Roy and Mighty Tracey collided in the home straight.

Father Phevos and Zipping Benson were quick to begin.

Lockwood Lad and Tron collided approaching the first turn.  Smooth Talker and Lockwood Lad collided on the first turn.  Lockwood Lad and Jane Way collided approaching the second turn.  So Predictable checked off Lockwood Lad on the third turn.

Destini Trucker underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
