Molly's Lass was quick to begin.  Dundee Idol and Bomber's Power collided soon after the start checking Bomber's Power.  Dr. Grady and Al's Brother collided approaching the first turn checking Al's Brother.  Stockbroker and Al's Brother collided on the first turn checking Al's Brother.  Bella Mia Rocks and Prabaker collided on the first turn to entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Dundee Idol and Bomber's Power collided on the home turn.

Esfahan was slow to begin.  Airly Liberty, Elswyk Storm and True Collinda collided soon after the start severely checking Elswyk Storm.  True Colllinda galloped on Bonnie Goes Bang approaching the first turn.  Dr. Macie galloped on Esfahan on the first turn checking Airly Liberty, True Collinda, Dr. Macie and Bonnie Goes Bang.  Airly Liberty, Dr. Macie and Bonnie Goes Bang collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  Elswyk Storm and Head On Bonnie raced wide in the home straight.

Taylor's Jewel - Late scratching at 4.56pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Inuka and Zachary were quick to begin.  Suspense Rules checked off Flywheel Bella on the first turn.  Slick Paws and Madalia Ken collided on the first turn.  Inuka, Zachary and Flywheel Bella collided on the home turn checking Zachary which stumbled as a result.  Zachary, Madalia Ken and Dr. Madison collided entering the home straight checking Madalia Ken.

Layback Cruiser - Late scratching at 5.07pm under GAR 37(4) on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian after the greyhound was found to be infested with fleas. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance stating the condition no longer exists before any future nomination will be accepte

A sample was taken from Majestic Mojo upon arrival at the course.

He's A Minstrel was slow to begin.  Aston Toto, Majestic Mojo, Gerry's Lara and He's A  Minstrel collided on the first turn checking Aston Toto severely checking Gerry's Lara.  Aston Frigate checked off Just A Giggle approaching the home turn severely checking Aston Frigate which fell as a result.  Aston Toto and Majestic Mojo collided on the home turn.

Aston Frigate underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have concussion.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Line Trike, Captain Cruiser and Sticker Stinger collided on the first turn.  Line Trike and Sticker Stinger collided on the home turn.  Line Trike and Foreman collided entering the home straight.

Coco Nova and Freddie Cruiser collided on the first turn checking Coco Nova.  Coco Nova and Omega Gringo collided approaching the home turn checking Madalia Brodie severely checking Coco Nova and Omega Gringo.

Amlin Storm and Akina Cosmo collided on the first turn checking Akina Cosmo.  Bit Of Pepper brushed the running rail approaching the home turn.  Akina Cosmo galloped on Amlin Storm approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Miss Somerton and Scorching Sun collided on the home turn severely checking Miss Somerton.

Miss Somerton underwent a post-race veterinary examination.  No apparent injury was reported.
