Natsu Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right monkey muscle, left pectoral muscle and left calf muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Vincent Daffy regarding the racing manners of Natsu Bale in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr Daffy, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

Radek Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the right hock. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to the Trainer, Mrs Andrea Daily regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the third turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Radek Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs Daily pleaded not guilty to the charge, Radek was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Namida and Aston Silk collided soon after the start checking Hello Keen and Lights Action. Lights Action and Hello Keen collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Hello Keen crossed to the rail on the second turn checking Lights Action which lost ground as a result. Aston Silk and Jullisa Bale collided on the home turn.

Lights Action underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a fracture to the right hind metatarsal. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
