All persons attending the venue today carried face-masks, observed social distance requirements and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.

The closing time of kennelling was altered in accordance with GAR 31, due to the late arrival of several trainers who experienced significant traffic delays en–route to the track. The kennels closed at 6.53pm. 

In accordance with LR 22, Mr C. Grenfell was issued with a warning regarding the non-compliance with the GRV Dress Code.

Aston Alpha and Nikoli Bale collided soon after the start checking Nikoli Bale, Wild Aces Agogo, Steamer Redeemer and Usman Bale.  Maelynn Bale and Savrance Bale collided on the first turn.  Usman Bale checked off Aston Alpha on the first turn.  Wild Aces Agogo checked off Usman Bale approaching the second turn.  Tynslee Bale and Nikoli Bale collided on the second turn checking Tynslee Bale.  Steamer Redeemer checked off Tynslee Bale on the second turn.  Aston Alpha checked off Tynslee Bale entering the back straight checking Steamer Redeemer.  Tynslee Bale and Savrance Bale collided on the third turn.  Steamer Redeemer checked off Maelynn Bale approaching the home turn.  Tynslee Bale and Wild Aces Agogo collided in the home straight.  Savrance Bale visibly eased approaching the winning post and collided with Nikoli Bale. 

Savrance Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Representative, Mr T. Dailly, regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 68B (1), Savrance Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge, Savrance Bale was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
